Hello, Hello. Harry McSween here with a little update on OLD School summer.  First, a thousand, “thank yous” to those who are praying and have prayed for the program.  I truly do thank the Lord for you and your love for Christ.  There are many times when I feel overwhelmed with different things at camp, and it really comforts me to know that there are some people praying for me, the program, and the staff and students that come here.  Please continue in this labor of love with reckless abandon; I beg you to pray for me and all others involved with the program because I know the Lord is faithful and the prayers of a righteous man can accomplish much.

    At this point in the summer 50 students have passed through the OLD School program.  What a blessing.  I am overjoyed knowing that 50 students, whether, they received it well or not, have heard the faithful teaching of passionate staff members, have been challenged to memorize scripture, and have had a week to remove themselves from the pursuits of the world and seek God alone.  What an awesome opportunity this is for young people to root themselves in spiritual, eternal things.

    We have had some awesome lightning storms on some of these trips.  Everyone was perfectly fine, but I must admit as I watched from camp I was a bit worried.  It is amazing how the Lord uses things that can be destructive, like a powerful storm, and brings students closer together through a challenging experience (one group of boys were in the rain for literally hours.. And loved it).
